ikesound.com a valid site???

i went through to purchase sum type r12's from ikesound and it went like a normal transaction.. at first... now i got an email askin for a copy of my drivers license, n my credit card number... it says i can take off the numbers on both the license n credit card (exept the first 4) ... i've never purchased anythin off of them so i was wonderin if anyone has and if this is the normal process... i dont wanna get scammed...

i bought a pioneer 3002spl off them with no problems a year ago.

Valid site, but they've been known to pull some fast ones in the past like advertising products they dont expect to have in stock until enough orders are in, sending obviously used returns instead of factory refurbs, not wanting to follow through on their own warranties.

Other than those minor issues, they have good prices.

That sounds like their ID verification.

I have spent lots of moneys with them, mostly paypal so I have never had to do this.

they are not valid. they fvcked me over when i purchased a XX-Goliath from them. Their warranties are bullsh!t..... don't make the same mistake i did. your better off purchasing from ebay before ikesound. Try onlinecarstereo.com or sonicelectronix.com or techtronics.com

i had a problem with woofersetc.com recently only because i was not talking to the right person i guess was their answer. woofersetc.com is good, if you ever have problems with an order talk to josh there. ikesound is terrible, got a hiconics 1500 amp i believe it was and i had to get ir repaired because it blew for some reason, i sent it back to them and since they didnt carry it anymore, after 2 weeks of waitin for a response since i did not recieve the amp, they told me that they needed me to call which noone notified me of. and dont buy from hifisound.com either

Ughhhhh. I was told by few people hifisoundconnection was a good site. That must be the worst ratings on any site i have seen. Well my kicker 1000 is coming on thursday according to ups, so the shipping isn't bad. I don't get how they are one of the few authorized internet dealers for kicker if they have such bad service.
