I love ignorance. It really just goes to show why the US is where it is.

Where it is? You mean like, helping protect and secure its allies interests, as well as its own.... such as Canada? Its easy to sit in judgment when you have a big brother fighting your fights for you.

As for keeping our noses out of the rest of the world's business, do you realize no small portion of our military goes to things like keeping international shipping lanes open and safe, there by protecting world trade? Its easy to sit in your ivory tower and act like we are just bullying the world to get our way, but the reality is the world uses us easily as much as we use the rest of the world. Grow your own Canadian military, and send your ships, sons, and daughters out into harms way to protect international waters and back up the UN in social tragedies, or stfu because you dont have much of a clue.

China does not have as advanced tech as our military does. The US still leads the world in military tech. China, much like the USSR use to do, reverse engineers our stuff just to keep up. Go look at pics of the new Chinese troop transport if you dont believe me, its amazingly similar to a hummer.

Im not saying we wouldn't lose in a full confrontation with them, we very well could. But claiming they are as advanced as us is simply incorrect.

Radar absorbing materials, and plane bodies with oblique angles, are not new ideas (although the actual material used today is fairly new). What made them reality was the computer aided flight. If it wasn't for computers making flight adjustments many times a second, those stealth planes would fall out of the sky like rocks. Their aerodynamics is awful.
