My daughter wants me to put a system in her car, she has $700.00. She wants to keep her HU, so she needs a set of components, a single 10" sub and a 4 or 5 channel amp. She drives a 2012 Toyota Prius C. So far this is what I have:

NVX 900.5 or NVX 800.4

JL Audio 10W0v3-4

Polk Audio MM6501

Money left to buy LOC, wire, sound deadner and 3/4 MDF.

If any of you have better recommendations, please speak up.

Thank You Much

The ppi 900.5 is alot more tested and proven also a little cheaper. And I'd replace the jl with either a sundown e series, soundqubed hs2, or the incriminator audio entry level sub

The 4 channel and mono version of that PPI have a sound quality triple crown.

If you only have one set of componets get a 3 channel.

KMSL your a idiot if you believe that.. a magazine recently tested it.. it had alot of noise above 10k..

Back in the 90's PPI is what I used. I considered the 900.5, I just find it very ugly and the copper colored lettering matches nothing in my daughters car, not to mention the NVX actually looks like a much better version of it.

Set of Polk audio db comps $115A cheap Rockville two ch amp for the comps^

Then I'd get a sound qube hds3 10

A bevla/Rockville mono for woofer.

That's like $400 and a decent first system
I have read so many bad reviews on the Rockville amps, why would you recommend those over the NVX?
