If you looked at a enclosure that was decently small, what would you think? Would it produce bass. Or does it depend on the subs. So if i had a small enclosure buill specifically for the subs that pound louder than a larger enclosure specifically build for the subs? Could that happen?

Yes, You could make an Isobaric enclosure that would match and maybe be louder than the larger box. Several downsides. It takes 2 speakers and they are hard to build.

Another option could ba a passive radiator enclosure. One sub and another "dummy cone".

Uhhhh???? yep I guess, take his subs^^ elemental designs in a 2.3cf ported. My Pyle 15 in a 3.3 ported would certainly outpound his. I think you should stick to Pyle.

Tell him everyone, he should get pyle's, they have high a BL compression and a very high transient response.

I think I understand what he is asking.

All other things being equal, what's the difference between a large box and a small box?

Smaller boxes have higher peaks, are more efficient, but cover less of the response range. Generally "punchier".

Larger boxes have wider response curves with lower peaks. Better low end extension. Higher efficiency.

Quick and dirty.
