I find it funny that you wont even remark on my comments...lol
Whats your concept? A multitude of subwoofers are ok because the frequencies they are reproducing bend around the objects that get in their path because the wavelength of sound is longer than the object. If the wavelength of sound is smaller than the surface than it will reflect...which translates to an incredible amount of reflections in your car creating thousands of micro nodes. We are much less sensitive to distortion in the lower octaves (-50dB at 40hz vs 4khz). We also have an incredibly difficult time observing the transient response of woofers, because the rise and fall time is several orders of magnitude smaller than signal compared to higher up in frequency when the rise and fall time of midranges/tweeters is longer than the actual frequency its reproducing. Your solution is a poorly engineered and designed concept that isnt very efficient at getting loud because of phase cancellation.

They are hardly the same. If only you had a clue about how sound works lol

FYI, I never said multiple drivers was a bad idea, they actually are phenomenal when implemented correctly. Your concept/design whatever you want to call it is horribly engineered/designed/implemented.
i havent replied to your comments becuase ive said 9983987 times that im not going for SQ, i dont give 2 shits about proper imaging, staging, or whatever else you want to complain about. jesus, how hard is it for you to grasp that and understand it?

You're system will have TONS of distortion. At least admit it.
lol ok. whatever you say. you live in a completely different state, yet you still know its going to be distorted, before its even installed! **** your GOOD!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

well, common sense says no, someone stupid enough to purchase 30 different speakers for one car probably wouldn't have the capacity to determine whether it was a good decision or not.

What he was trying to say is that you technically could ALSO be louder with fewer speakers since much of the energy is being canceled out when waves hit each other at different phase angles. It's called destructive interference.

This is completely true whether you are going for SQ or not. If you were to implement some proper time alignment and/or strategic mounting locations more SPL could be achieved with fewer drivers.

If wasting power and money on more drivers than necessary doesn't bother you then your solution works fine -- it'll be really loud, which is what you want. But, it isn't optimal without taking phasing issues into consideration -- SPL or SQ.

Woooow... almost a whole day later and this chit is STILL going on? Little 50watt SQ component boys still bitchin over there? Yawwwnnnsss.....
I have ~750watts to my front stage.

Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
