Aha...yeah that is why 8 15s, a 27.6" x 84" 3.5 micron diaphragm, and a modular ~50" baffle is necessary Ive been plagued with work lately and just havent had the time to sit down and engineer it to my liking. I dont want to do this more than once

I'm displacement limited to 131dB at 50hz (negating the transfer function of the room of course...I havent calculated that off-hand lol)

Platestacker45 doesnt need to be banned. I dont understand the grounds of it, hes been arguing his case just like I have, albeit without the support of the congregation. I came to know what I know now through research and questioning, if we ban him he will learn nothing.

I observed several posts in this thread which involved harsh criticism without explanation...which serves no purpose for the thread starter. If we choose to explain our posts objectively without arrogance, we run much less a risk of starting a flame war...this is the direction this forum should be going in not the other way around

First off, like I said earlier, I've had TONS of people tell me their stock Bose is the best sounding thing they've ever heard in their life. So you telling us you're reacharound buddies think you're system sounds awesome means absolutely NOTHING.

Secondly, I GUARANTEE I can take a ordinary set of 2-way components, stage them properly, feed them a decent amount of power, and sound louder and better then your shitheap.

Im avoiding neither lol. The goal is to reach the lower 30s while maintaining the dipole propagation, dynamics and fidelity...not SPL. I could safely cross to a large sealed/sonotube LLT without harm.
