If you had to save your pets life or a strangers life who would you choose?

Plus, for shits sake, if you were to die, your dog will at least wait a day or 2 before he begins to eat you.

A stranger will probably only wait an hour at the most to sodomize your dead body and defecate on your chest. And then steal your wallet/valuables.

what kind of a dumbass question is this... but at the same time, based on how people react to animal death i don't doubt that a lot of people would save a dumbass pet first. people are just stupid that way.. but on the internet they're "cool" that way

if you want to take a utilitarianism approach... there's a greater possibility of greater good out of saving the life of the human compared to a pet... I don't know any animals feeding the poor (except through death...) the potential of a person is much greater than the potential of a pet

potential... there's all kinds of what ifs that can be drummed up... what if the person you ended up saving was einstein, kennedy, hitler, stalin... point is you don't know who you're saving... the potential of a human life is still far greater than a pet... the life of a dog rarely makes a large impact on the fate of the world... except for maybe lassie

At the same time, people have done far worse things then any dog ever will. It goes both ways..

You're too optimistic about human life...potential doesn't mean anything.

How many people truly have a positive impact in this world, as opposed to those that can honestly be determined to have had a negative impact on society?

I'm not being serious with this at all, as this thread is pretty dumb...but you can't play on potential, and think about the greater good of one person, because for that one person that does truly do something good, you can easily find a few bad apples.
