What do you guys think about Palmeiro?

I was listening to the radio earlier, and a caller made a good point. Why should we let him in the Hall of Fame? Pete Rose isn't allowed in because he 'cheated' the game of baseball. Palmeiro potentially committed a felony, and lied to the federal Congress....why should we let him in?

Not saying that at all. We know Mcgwire was on something. Same with Bonds. There are a ton of players that are very suspect. Hell, look at Brett Boone. Pudge dropped ~30 lbs this offseason...coincidental?

Palmeiro is no doubt a great player...but you just have to wonder. It took him about 7 seasons to start hitting HR's. He played 5-6 FULL seasons without hitting more then ~20 hr's. I'm not saying that he was on them for this long...but you have to wonder.

While it's a good point, there are a few guys in the HOF that shouldn't be there if they based induction on what happens off the field.

Biggest loser in the MLB = Manny Ramirez. Well, one of the bigger idiots anyway.
