If i lean forward, my bass is much louder, why?

You move one frequency's resonance node at the expense of all the others.
Any of the EE guys know how the phase shift circuit works on these amp and do they have a center freq? Every phase equation I've ever seen has freq as one of the variables. That would mean that you phase shift each freq a different number of degrees. Of course the inductance of a speaker's voice coil does the same thing.
he might find the slight phase shift improves sound-staging.. although nearly every vehicle i heard/owned was louder on the dash... easy way to tell if its cancellation is play a couple different frequencies(30-35-40 etc...) and if the low notes are noticeably louder on the dash you know the problem, if the output change is linear its simply loading the dash... phass can help improve soundstaging a ton in some cases... i so many systems i hear delay(phase related) its not even funny,,, i even changed its to 180 out of phase and it sounded better....

drag... reflective shield...... you know a windshield is that thing right? If ya dont' believe me. Next time you are listening to your system turn your head and look backwards then foward. Most cars it is a good amount louder when looking at the windshield
Isn't that stupid... How can the loudness possibly change when all your doing is spinning your head around. Your ears are moving about a circumference so how can it be louder looking one way!??? (Idiot?)
