if i am going to wire 4 subwoofer to a mono amp

Depends on the voice coil config of your subs and which impedance you desire. Provide a link to the subs and I'll tell you exactly how to wire them...

now im having problems the amp is overheating and the bass goes down and misses notes and stuff

im think i have it wired wrong because that amp should be powerful enough right

the way i have it wired now is just all the positives and negatives wired straight to the amp there is no wires like how some of those diagrams have them like from pos to pos on the sub and stuff

Wire the subs like this if you want your amplifier's full power (supposedly 900 watts):

I don't know what the hell you're talking about, dude. Just wire it exactly as the diagram shows.

if you're doing what i'm assuming you just have all the ends wadded together into the amp...

put the first subs + to the second.. and then out from there to the next + then out from there to the next + and so on..'

then with the negatives.

the pluses and minuses are the slots on the amp and the wires are the wires from my 4 subs

It doesn't matter. The amps terminals are internally connected. It's a MONO, meaning one channel.

dose not matter with that amp its a mono block having ++ and-- allows you to get more wiring in to the amp and allows you a few different ways to actually wire your subs just use some decent wire 14g ot 12g and go from one + to the other one - to ther other on each speaker to the other to the other to the other then to the amp

No its because you are using kicker comps. those don't really pick up the low lows that well, plus that amp doesn't put out anywhere near what its rated for
