I am always about 2 years behind on the latest and greatest so forgive my stupidity.

My wife has bluetooth on her phone. So if she has it on her phone, what would the advantage of having a HU with bluetooth be?? Doe sit just mean the call goes through the sound system?

Thanks

Yes, you can pair the phone with the HU, and hear the conversation over the system speakers and talk into a microphone, usually hidden in the visor or dash.

Handsfree without a stupid glowing blue thing on your ear FTW

yes........ they also make bluetooth interfaces for the ipods that trasmit audio and song names to the head unit, so you can change the song playing in your car from 20-30 meters away............ (dunno why you would want to but)
