Im going to install a navone LOC in my 2001 4runner, but I took a look today and it looks like a real pain. Does anyone know if there is a stock amplifier, and if so where should I put the LOC? Getting to the back of the head unit is going to be a hassle, I need an easy way to install this.

It looks like there is a fan under the passenger front seat, what could this be besides a power amplifier?

If you have the premium sound, the factory amplifier is in the lower dash behind the radio.

It's really easy to take the dash apart and take four screws out to get the radio out... the wires you need to get to however... plug into the bottom of the factory amplifier.

I think it does have the premium sound, its pretty nice for a stock setup. It has the 6.5's and seperate tweeters in the a-pillars.

Im just connecting the LOC to the speaker wires that come from the head unit and go to the stock amp, right?

Thanks for the reply.

yes there is a amp its real small you will see it when you tear it apart and that fan under the seat is for the rear heater
