What is up with these subs? i don't think i have heard anything bad about them. However, they look super old school low tech. How do they do it? Are these one of the best SQ subs out there? What is a good price to pay for one used?

what do you mean how do they do it?

not the best sq sub..but im sure its a excellent one as everyone makes it out to be.

used...depends on condition/size/etc.

I am just saying that with all of the "new" technology we are seeing with subs, this is relatively low tech, with excellent results.

i think they would rather get customers by being a great woofer than by looking flashy. i love how they look. nice and simple and clean.

they are very eficcient. most of the time with a big magnet you need more power to move the motor. remember, the RMS is around 300W.
