Well I want new subs I have 10 inch cvr's and they just don't get the job done for me. I have a small box, it is 1.12CF per side. I have a 1608D Hifonics amp on them. So which do you guys think would be the better hitting Sub. I am going to try and put 12's into this box. Thank you for your time.

IDQ is .65 to 1.0 CF with 5.8 mounting depth. 50-600 watts

Kicker Solo Clasic is .88 with 6.2 mounting depth 600-1200 watts

I say IDQ! Because it has the best sound quality and gets loud also. The kicker will handle more power and will get a little louder, but sound quality will not be near as good.

The idqs are great sounding subs and can still get surprisingly loud, you'll be happy with a pair

I have a pair of IDQs. I run two v1's and I love them.

IDQs sound **** good and can get decently loud. Im only giving them 150rms each.

from what i have heard they sound basically the same. i have only heard the id sub though so i can not verify this however either sub would be great for sq

Car audio magazine said the W6 is the best sounding subwoofer they have ever tested. The only problem I have with that is, they have never tested a IDQ before.
