well ive had the idq for about a year now and enjoy the way it sounds

recently i fried my bazooka 600 watt amp but i know its nothing close to the 600watts that my kicker will put out

so yes i purchased both already

couldnt pass up a kicker 1200 for 180$

Sure it's fine, that's if you know how to use the gain properly.

the kicker does 1200w at 2 ohms. its not 1 ohm stable

My Kicker catalog says otherwise. The kx1200.1's are the only ones of the 05' lineup that are 1 ohm stable. 1200w at 1 ohm.

ZX's arent 1 ohm stable... KX's are

u only need about 300 watts for the idq to sound good. i set my gains at 500 with a dmm

ZX rated max at 2 ohm, but have been played at 1
