All ive heard on this forum for the last few months is XXX is king of the hill for the most part...and ESPECIALLY over the W-7. Now im hearing the complete opposite. I think there are wayyy to many people voting for one sub or the other, depending on what the other people in the thread are saying.

My XXX setup sound a bit better than my friend w7 setup, al so got louder on meter and by ear.

2 who gives a shitt... compare 2 xxx 12 s to 2 12 w7 s .... in a great enclosure for each, with the same power theres no way a w7 can keep up to a xxx, but then again its only because a xxx can take 2 x the power of a w7

when i think of a xxx i dont think better in terms of a w7 i look at it as a cheaper alternitive but then again so is the idmax but its advantage in my eyes is its easier to blend into the system than a w7.

I have xxx's now, seriously contemplating an idmax for my second truck Im putting a system in now... maybe I'll get a W7 when I get the chevelle going.
