IDMAX vs W7 vs XXX

IDmax, W7, XXX

I loved the setups I have heard with the idmax. But I am getting more into the sq side of things.

well it really depends what u want ive never heard a idmax play before so i cant judge that. but between the w7 and xxx. well the xxx will def get louder if u install it right. but the w7 will have much better sq. not to mention if ur on a budget deff the xxx then i got mine for 300 and the w7 is lol around 600:laugh:

Ummm, nope.I have yet to see (and hear) with my own eyes/ears a XXX of the same size get louder than a W7 of the same size.Not saying it's not possible.But the XXX couldn't really keep up with the W7 in output.SQ is subjective.

If you're paying $600 for a 8", 10", or 12" W7 you're getting ripped.Find a local dealer willing to work with ya.

If money is not of concern, W7 all the way.

I'd take the IDMaxs first, W7's second. They are all going to be pretty comparable in output, within ~1-2db of each other (which isn't a lot to the ear). SQ I'd give the nod to the IDMax's over the W7 and the W7 over the XXX.
So, my choices would be IDMax > W7 > XXX

Not enough power for 2 12" XXX's to get them wanging properly, w7's are nice but pricey, I loved my IDMAX setup to death and they got plently loud off of only 500 watts.

there all going to get loud, probly so close it will be hard to tell a BIG difference but once you have had a system for a while u start wanting sq and the IDMAX will def give u that

I had a 13.5 W7 was my first system.

second was 2 sealed ID MAX.

3rd was 15" XXX.

I hated the ID MAX 12" it blew on me. The W7 was nearly stolen the same day of install at night.

He wants a DUAL 12" SETUP. You should base you judgements on that. It's not just you, but I think people are forgetting that's what he originally posted.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. If I were going for SQ, I would go for the Image Dynamics. The RE sub and the W7 are both great SQL subs.

IMO, to call any of these subs "poo" is pure ignorance.

Why are you limited to these three?

xxx over dub7 in spl....ive heard many w7s all in diff boxes and shit, and my xxx outidid them all noticeably...maybe a 13w7 might be a little closer to the 12xxx...but 12xxxvs12w7....gotta take the xxx, its just such a sick speaker
