IDMax in extended cab?

I bought an IDMax about 4-5 months ago to put in the trunk of a car, but things have changed and I'm selling the car and picking up a truck. I still want to use the IDMax, but I don't know if it will fit under the backseat. Anyone have any experience with a long throw woofer in an extended cab truck? If so how did you face it, what kind of box, etc?

What about direction? From what I have read, for a small truck cabin like that it's better to down-fire or fire into the bottom of the seat as opposed to facing forward. I really just need information specific to the vehicle type, as I've only dealt with small cars with very well sealed trunks in the past.
