I have one IDMAX d4 that im planning on running 600w rms to. I have a Mr Marv 1.0 cuft sealed box that Im planning on running it in. Will that box work with that sub or is it a little small? What if I put a little poly fill in the box to make it seem bigger (1.5lbs of fill)

any thoughts?

yea 1.0 sealed is fine.. ported will need about a 2.0 cubed. which is what i hav.. let me know how it sounds sealed please. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well my current setup is single 10 so I don't know about the difference between the two because I never listened to them in person, just read the good reviews. You think that giving them 600wrms sounds better than 1000? Some said that it sounded very nasty when given 1000+. What's your input?

Well for sealed ID lists 1.3 cuft as the "normal" recommendation , and 1.1cuft as the "small" recommendation. So I'm thinking, that if I follow the recommendations on this site... http://web.archive.org/web/20020808224043/integra.cyberglobe.net/caraudio/resources/fiberfill/

that adding 1.5 lbs of polyfill will in effect give me a 30% increase in box volume. Im not expecting miracles, but if it gives me a little more room for that sub to breathe then I'm happy.

Here's what they say on the site.. "Theoretically, your woofer/box bass system can act like a system that's a maximum of 40 percent larger when you've latched onto the right stuffing recipe – in other words, if you have an enclosure that offers 1 cubic foot (1 ft³ ) of internal volume, in a perfect world a good stuffing job will make it perform like an enclosure that offers 1.4 cubic feet of internal volume. "

PERFECT!

hear it first w/o the poly for about an hour and then put in the poly, you will be amazed, as i did with mine, wasn't a day and night difference but you know will be happy that you did

Power level is fine. Maxes dont need more than 750 watts or so. Box is to small, build a new one or buy one. Dont inhibit the ability of this woofer, its truly a fantastic driver. If you have the space go with the ID ported rec box. You can find them all over the place if you dont want to build one.
