Got hooked up from Majik from soundethics.com. great guy here. He heard about my old idmax being stolen. I went with 15 version because it was newer and going sealed for maximum chest thump. Just waiting for my day off to get it in a box.
Awesome! I can't see the images for some reason...but I know what they look like. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Really looking forward to your review. In my opinion, the IDMAX 15s produce the best sounding bass I have ever heard...with plenty of output!
all the images shows fine for me. is anybody else having problems? I have it in the car right now. I had to remove all 80% of the carpet padding because it was sounding lifeless. I stuffed it with 2lbs of poly fill and now its starting to sound like its supposed to. Im still breaking it in at the moment.
I wasn't impressed in the beginning to tell you the truth. That's because it wasn't broken in yet. I can already tell that the sub is more sensitive than my previous tc9 I ran before switching over. I had the amp about 1/4 gain. Slope at 12db instead of 24db . Most subs can't handle 12db slope without sounding off balance. This sub handles it well with punchy smooth bass. This thing is the jack of all trades. Transient and goes low low. I bought a bar grill for it but it doesn't fit because even though it is a 15". It measures more like 15.68 and has incredible surface cone area. I listen to hip-hop , deep house, tech house, trance and alternative. They all sound beautiful. Just make sure your fronts can handle the amount of bass this thing produce. Thanks majik for recommending the idmax 15 version .
