I am about to install my 4 OA 15s and now I'm wondering what I should do for my fronts. Right now I have stock door speakers 6x8s not amped. I was thinking of doing a 1 inch soft dome and a 3 - 4 inch mid in either a kick, the a-pillar, or the sail, and then an 8 inch midbass in the door in a fiberglassed pod.
I'm wondering what speakers are good. Right now I'm thinking of doing a peerless sls 8 inch midbass and then a tangband midrange and idk a tweeter yet, maybe a vifa. Is there a typical way of going about putting together your own component set? Should I pick the tweeter first? Do I look at certain specs to match speakers appropriately? idk I'm a noob.
