My friend wants an estimate (serious plz) of that kind of dBs he's throwing out. Hes running one of my Memphis M-Class subs in a box I built long ago (big ugly, ill show pics later).. Hes running it on approx 320w rms, in my 4 cu ft box tuned to 29Hz... I gotta say the memphis has suprised me though. I thought it wouldnt be much, but once we hooked it up the trunk flexes, the rear deck has about 7mm xmax, and the seats vibrate like a mothafucka... even the front bumper moves. Mind you this is in an 04 cav... but I seriously wanna have it metered.

Its the first ported box Ive ever built and seriously suprised me.... and he thinks he's the shit now. I told him he's running high 120's maybe 130's...

**** i must be at like 115 then.. my trunk rattles a little, no flexing. its off 400wrms on a mach5 maw, with a kicker 400.1 amp -- in a 97 monte carlo.

Ive never had a car metered so thats just a guess, but it absolutey rapes lows under about 60hz (uber oversized deathbox). Itll get better with more power and once we add the second sub...

And for reference its a 12 hes running.

since the box is hella bigger than the sub requires itll generally run the sub more efficently. so it sounds good, but if u give it enough power itll blow real quick...glad it sounds good

Its nasty on some songs. Mostly rock but I think the boominess is because we're running one sub in a box built for two. I didnt cut the 2nd hole yet cuz he doesnt have enough power to efficiently power 2 subs just yet. He likes it though... I detest it, as he doesnt have enough midbass and his front speakers arent amped yet.

My guess would be from 120-125 dB's.

Its a cavalier. Everything flexes and rattles. I know this from personal experiance.

X2. My best friend had an 02 cavalier, and it was a flimsy piece of shit. Nothing was solid on it.

I hear that! I swear, my farts make it flex a bit. Either way, for less than $200 spent thats pretty loud and it sounds really good. The M-Class subs are very SQ friendly speakers.
