iDA-X200 vs X100

This is my first post!

I have a Chrysler Sebring convertible 01'. I got last week and I want to give it a decent deck and speakers, and possibly a set of subs. I was at best buy and saw the head unit by alpine, iDA-X200. It was $250, then I need to get the ipod connector for it and the dash installation. Then some decent speakers. I was wondering if I should upgrade and get the X100 for an extra $100. Will it really be better? Also, does an iPhone work with the regular ipod adapter fro alpine units?

I think its worth the extra just because the screen looks so much better on the x100. Both units do come with an ipod cable, so you don't need to buy any extra cables. The iphone does work with this cable but you cannot get phone calls while it's plugged in.

yes you can, just don't turn it on airplane mode, you might get a little interference but when mine rings it just plays my ringtone over my speakers

fyi, if you use the KCE-422i instead of the USB connection, the album art doesn't get displayed on the iDA-x100. save your money unless you want to use the older iPods
