ID12 vs IDQ12v2 vs IDQ12v3

Many people recommended the IDQ12v3 to me but it is a bit out of my budget. The ID12 and IDQ12v2 however fall within my budget. Which should I go with? Is it REALLY worth increasing my budget and getting the idq12v3?

FWIW I have an ID10 and it sounds fantabolous so I couldn't see you shelling out the extra money,for the money the ID has been superb.

IDQ are awesome subs and I had the first version I can only imagine how the v3's would sound.

If you can give up a little more room to get the right box for the ID, go for it. If space is a severe issue the IDQ will perform better in a smaller enclosure.

the v.3 is well worth it. They get louder and lower and still sound just as great as the v.2's. Also, the v2.'s will be discontinued after all the parts are used up, so only the v.3's will be serviceable after the v.2's are gone.

I would get the new IDQv3, if you cant spend that much get the IDQv2. Either way you can not go wrong with ID subs.

I guess I gave my IDQ's away then. I just sold a local buddy my two barely used IDQv2 10's in a sweet little ported box I made myself, for $175... and I almost felt bad I got that much out of him.

Its funny tho, when I built that little box with those 10's all my buddies thought it was a 'cute little system'. Then they heard it, and several offered to buy it, cuz it was louder than theirs, while killing it in SQ.

I agree, cant go wrong with ID subs. Ive used them on and off for 15 years, always an outstanding product.
