ID vs MB Quart

I would go with the ID in about 1.5-2.0 cubes. It would have a smoother sound and more low end. The MB Quart would do well but in a smaller box, it will be lacking in low end and will be peaky around 55-80hz or so. It would sound tight and aggressive in a smaller box though.

as much as I love MB quart, I have never really been impressed with the subs, they are crisp and clean in the proper sealed enclosure, but the ID's really have a nicer kick to them.

If you listen to classical stuff and soft music, get the mb's

for anything else - Image dynamics is the way to go.
