ID Code for Panasonic CQ-VAD7300u

I bought a truck that already had this unit installed. Shortly afterwards, the truck was totalled. Removed the head unit and when I went to reinstall in my new vehicle, the unit is asking for an ID Code. I have no idea what this is. Talked to Panasonic and they say I have to have proof of purchase to get the reset code. I have neither.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

usually it is something basic like 1234 ...0000....4321....you'll have to try a sequence till you get it right....some decks go into a protect mode after to many attemps like 5 usually...then you'll have to wait another 30 minutes or so to try again...write down the numbers you try...so you don't waste time repeating the same number twice.....

Yeah, I've considered that. I was hoping there was a factory reset or master code.
