IB in Maxima

Anyone here have a 5th gen Maxima who has done a IB? This is my next potential setup as I want to make a IB on the rear deck. How hard is it? THe only problems I see are the trunk lid rods below the rear deck and mayeb the deck is too thin? Someone please chime in because I need suggestions. THanks.

EDIT: Yes, I do know thats an Altima, but its a very recent thread which I didnt have to search for. There are other maxima IB threads on there.

I plan on using a 10 or 12 in the stock spot (i dont have the bose system so its empty). I measured the distance between the edge of that opening to the first trunk lid rod and it measures 9" which might be enough for a 10" and maybe for a 12".

You will have to cut to fit a 12. A ten can be done easily. Yes, I have done it.
