-Pioneer Premier P860MP

You guys know the deal for this one lol.

Im preaty much set but i wanted to hear you guys's opinions on this one. lets hear it!

Are you absolutely sure your amps will accept a 6.5 volt signal?? The Clarion only puts out 4 volts. I don't know which I would take between the 2. Well maybe thats just because I've had so many Pioneer decks in my days that I want to try something different myself.

Between those 2 I would have to say that it really depends on what you need your head unit to do. The Pioneer has alot of features but what if you don't need all those features??? In SQ I can't see how the 860 would sound any better than the 855. Not to mention Pioneer has had some reliability issues as of late. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Are you buying these from a local retailer or online.??

^^ Ebay is the way to go, iam thinking go for the 770mp and get some rims for my car.
The 770??? Nice deck as well. 4 volt preouts, compatible with Sirius or XM. Plays virtually all compressed audio formats. You can't really go wrong with that one either. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah i know its a nice deck, actually if i get the 770mp then i can have enough to buy rims for car right after im done with my system.

Well that looks like the way to go then if you ask me.

BTW.......my god you're a post H0re !! j/k.......just meant you have alot of posts in a very short period of time.

i would go for the 860. used to own one then sold it, then i missed it so much i went and bought an 860 again. also the 860 probably doesn't put out 6.5 volts rms unclipped. i fed my amps an 8 volt signal from eclipse and had no problems.

i had an awsome deal for an 860mp for 285 bnib but its not there anymore, so i guess now im leaning more towards the 770mp since it can do everything i need i guess

I have/love the 770. The only difference w the 860 that I can see is that you can customize the display.

there is more then that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif larger eq, time alignment, 3-way crossover, more adjustable crossovers, higher preout voltage, auto eq and probably more i can't think of now.
