IA DP Release Imminent, Details Within

Nick, I tried to look back a few pages... and didn't see an answer to a past question...
What is the limiting factor on travel here?

I'd imagine it would be the suspension... maybe not though. I'd love to see some t/s params... for shits and giggles... b/c they obviously aren't everything.

I can't wait to try these out... hopefully I won't have to wait till spring.

Noah,

The driver has 44 mm's of rearward clearance with cooling, and the suspension can move 40 mm's each way (80mm's peak to peak) so you are right. The suspension is the limiting factor! I will release T/S parameters sometime in the near future, I've decided most of the new drivers we release we will withhold them so a short time, as performance is more important than how our drivers simulate out in some software program! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks,

Nick

i talked to a guy that tested these subs and he said that theyre good subs, but theyre on the same level as the FI BTL, except more expensive:crap:
its a possibility, but honestly, how much hands on has this guy had with the dp? its only been out for a bit now.

and as far as price goes, a fully loaded 15" btl is $500 bucks. i dont think the dp is much more direct from IA.

cant really see you going wrong with either one, as i have a btl, and the dp sure seems like a **** nice sub

actually a fully loaded 18" btl is 499 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

well.. the 21"er is not much more than that, so the 18" mightbe.. maybe 550, but I dont know for sure, as I never priced one..

yea retail price is a little steep for most people i would assume. but direct from IA (i believe they will do that) should be a good bit cheaper.
