If you're not sure how much power to give the 187 series, then go with the Lethal Injection series.

I would love to, but they are out of my price range. lol I've been looking for some used ones, but have not found any. I really do not want to spend over $300.

Those DC lvl 4's and the Nightshade 18 look good. Any other opinions on which way to go? One of those subs vs. 2 IA 187 15's?

one of those subs will destroy 2 187s, you are better to go with one beefy sub in a large ported box, get really low and loud

honestly though, if you are throwing down the $$$ for a 1500D, save up a little longer and get something that will really shine off of that 1500rms. As people are reccomending, a level 4 or 4xl will be amazing off of that power

I had to stretch my budget to get the Sundown, but I got a great deal on it. $230... Those CVR's do get loud, but everyone has them around where I live, that is why I was leaning towards the RE's or 187's.

From what I've read, "there is no replacement for cone area". So two cheaper 15's will be louder than one better 15. If I knew that one IA DR, Fi Q, or DC lvl 4 would get as loud as two IA 187's I'd get the one sub in a heartbeat. Any other opinions on this? Thanks for all your help Mclerico83.
