IA 10.1 to SA12d2

I'm getting my Incriminator Audio 10.1 amp tomorrow in the mail, specs are: 1200@ 1ohm/800@2ohm/400@4ohm. I currently have an SA12d2. If I wire it at 1 ohm obviously that's overpowering the SA12 but would I just be able to turn the gain down or should I just wire it to 4 ohms..

Do you have access to a dmm, dd-1, or a oscope to set your gains? As long as your gains are set right the sub should be fine. Congrats on the ia10.1 they are beasts. I have the bigger brother the 20.1 and i dont think im going to get rid of it.

Gain down some. You'd be surprised what that SA can take man.

Just not sure my signal is 100% clean with my lc2i (settings all the way down) and stock hu in a 2014 dodge dart.

I had my SA15D2 hooked up to a Brutus 1200 @ 1 ohm with no issues. Those subs are power hungry!
