3000 sq in of surface area if those are 6's, around 2300 if they're 5.25's.

Even if they're 5.25's thats still the surface equivalent of thirteen 15's. heh

Of course, taking excursion into account you would need less 15's than that, but they also wont hit the high notes like these 5's. I wanna see some stats!

I saw this car a few years back at a local car show/sound off.

It was talked about by many a school the next monday. If I remember, It did a 171.x but i dunno, it was a while back and I didn't know what the hell spl was about then.

yeah that was doms caddy from several years back. hit 170 but I believe it was usac. I do not beleive it ever metered on the termpro for a legal score.

I think the frequency was higher then 90. I know he would use the tone sweep and burp it at a certain second count. The sweep went from 200+ Hz down. So who knows....

Wow....thats the first show I had that thing at. Carl Casper many years ago. It has changed alot since then. The box looks exactly the same but much prettier and better speakers.

The car has......

108 - 5.25's (I designed them and Concept built them) (Ported box tuned to 50hz, thats as high as I could tune it with the port area I had to work with.)

36-American Bass VFL-150's ((130,00 watts )) (First real amps I had in the car)(Most power too)

72-Memphis 1000D's (Second real amps I had in the car)

72- Turbo Start 8 volt batteries.

The car always metered sealed up on the dash. Highest I ever got it up to is 176 before the Concept speakers failed. That was on Linear X. which reads the same as the B&K. Atleast my Liner X did.

That car made many a B&K competitor nervous. LOL.
