actually that is not true, I buy online from ebay and have gotten warrantys. also if you look at the link i gave scroll down and look on the left hand side it talks about warrantys..these are just smaller companys so they give warranty but if you were to buy from a person no you wouldnt get a warranty lol

have you ever tried to claim on that warrnty?

When my 960mp messed up the store I got it from wanted 70 to look at it then whatever it cost to fix it........right, I just took it to a local repair shop and got it fixed for 120 bucks

No, never tried to claim yet I have never really had a problem? I have been installing my own systems in all sorts of cars from imports to demestics..ever since uhmm tweeter sold me some junk that fried the alternator in my beemer lol
