i am very familiar with glocks not a fan of them but I have alot of family and friends that are gunsmiths ...and they are cheap and easily modded so they use em.

My dad was a Navy SEAL, I've been around plenty of firearms in my life.

Furthermore, there is no need to argue with an idiot on a car audio forum over firearms. God forbid an oiled, black, stainless steel pistol slide have a shine to it in direct light.

I have a somewhat similar experience with the Police having a .40 in my face.

Me and a few buddies were at a Auction House that one of the guy's dad owned and operated. He had a decently sized "living area" upstairs where we would have get-togethers and parties at once in a while. Always could trust going there and having a good time without any problems.

Well one Sunday we decided hey let's go shoot pool and drink a few cold ones to wrap up the weekend. We show up and go upstairs and start doing our thing and turn the radio on (not loud but clear if you know what i mean). Next thing we know we hear something go BOOM! downstairs. We all look at each other like WTF?!? and stop, turn the radio off, and listen for a sec... Next thing you know I creep around the stairway to look downstairs (beer and poolstick in hand) to 5 city cops with all 5 of thier Glock 22 .40's pointing dead in my face maybe 10' max away... They all yell "FREEZE AND DONT MAKE A GD MOVE!" I literally think I'm about to get f'd up or beat to he11 and back. Then a few of my buddies whip around the corner. Well one of the cops knew my buddy from his dad owning the shop and being a local. Well they put down thier guns and ask what we're up to just to realize that we weren't robbing the place but playing a friendly game of pool.

But that moment got pretty damm real pretty damm quick...

Last night around 11PM my Grand Cherokee decided to strand me at the gas station right down the road from home (turns out the battery was gone). I was only 1/4 mile from home, & it was freezing, so I decided just to walk home & mess with it in the morning. This particular gas station is part of a grocery store, so I walked in & notified the manager on duty I had to leave my Jeep at the pump until the AM. He said no problem & he'd leave the 3rd shift stock crew a note.
So I get home, work on homework, & surf the web until 2:30AM or so..... after that I was out. Around 3:56AM I am startled & wake up. I share a townhouse with 3 friends, all 3 were upstairs asleep, I have the downstairs room. Without turning on any lights, I walk upstairs, everything seems fine & they're all out. Walk back downstairs, get in the bed, & no sooner than I get comfortable I hear someone walking around outside my window. I roll over & there's a flashlight shining in my window. I reached under the mattress, grabbed my Glock 27 .40, then stuck my S&W BodyGuard .380 in my waistband & walked upstairs. I heard someone walking on the back porch & saw another flashlight at the front door. I went over to the corner of the living room so that I could see out the window to the driveway & the front porch. What do I see? No vehicles in the driveway, yard, or along the road. However, I do see a man wearing a black toboggan & dark colored sweater standing on my front porch with a flashlight. Next thing I know he starts knocking on the door. I opened the solid oak door just enough to show this dude my shiny Glock 27. Next thing I know he's screaming deputy something & pulls his gun yelling police. At this point I'm relieved I'm not getting robbed, but I'm still shaking because I have two cops with pistols drawn standing on my porch. The other guy that came around had on a uniform, so I put my gun down on the floor so they'd calm down. They then inquired as to why I had two pistols on me & a 10G shotgun in the hallway. I simply replied, "Because that bullshit ya'll just pulled scared the fuck out of me."

Turns out 3rd shift never got the note about my Jeep & called the police about my vehicle being parked their. The cops were just coming by to make sure everything was okay...turns out they have 3 homicides this month with no leads...2 of the victims vehicles were found abandoned in parking lots.

Anyway, just a note to the sheriff's office..... Don't park your police vehicles 3 houses down, have on black clothing, & walk around someones house @ 4AM with flashlights peeking in doors/windows. Scared the shit out of me & liked to have got me shot. IMO they should have parked in the driveway with the blue lights on or waited until the morning. I think I'm going to have a talk with the sheriff's office about their tactics...

Seeing a dude dressed in black shine a flashlight in your windows at 4AM isn't cool. And I'm not gonna lie, it scared the living shit out of me.
