it isn't that they are better, but you really get more for your money. Many companies such as eclipse, alpine, etc use brands such as vifa and scanspeak. You cut out the middleman. Some good tweets from madisound are seas neos which many people on diymobileaudio.com run in their cars. I have some seas neo aluminums, and they are definitely nice tweets.

Yeah I was going to recommend the seas tweets as well. They are cheap and sound great for the money. I plan on getting the aluminum neos once I sell some stuff.
