do whichever you wanna buy..wont make much difference in size.. the AQs have the same motor and DD 10s & 12s are same motor.. so either a DD 1500 or AQ SD2.5.. u pick the size

and U can get 1 10 to sound like 2 12s.. but ur wishing for alot on a $100 budget.. but im tryin 2 get u there

couldnt help but laugh and post this...i would relook into AQ, they are a very good company

i would have to find someone to buy it for me and i would ive them cash.

i read their entire site (mostly) seemed like they would be respectable.

IMO 1 12". With same amount of wattage, most of the time, the 1 12" will be louder, under the same conditions. I like DD, I ran 2 8's that flexed my car more than my 2 12" Hifonics, that were in a lower tuned box.

There's a nice 12" Pro-Cast here for $100 + shipping. I don't think you can ever go wrong with MMats.

i just installed a type R with the alpine 850 amp...in a prefab box

it lasted one day and the sub was shot.

i had it tuned right and im convinced it was the box that ****ed up the sub.

i can get the a 12' R for 105

lol it was the last sub i owned so i made it my username...

i dont really want another one...

im very sheltered when it comes to audio. lol if you havnt noticed

today i installed a 15 inch JBL with a tanish paper look to it..idk what model it was...it was deep but you could hear it clip...

i did not tune it..

I still dont know how you think youre gonna get a single 10" to sound louder than two 12" subs.

check out a kicker cvx 10.. those bump pretty good for 10s if you have the right amp.
