You can't hear a difference musically with a box that uses areoports but they do help increase SPL so if don't right it will be louder than a slot port box. Come to the show in Elgin in august and you'll be able to hear a lot of different box's.

Aero's simply help decrease port noise. Listening to a vented system with 'normal' ports or even slot ports, that are of adequate size, will yield the same results. In other words, 'listening' to a setup with aeroports will sound the same as listening to any other vented system that is set up correctly.
