I want to do something different. Suggestions?

Everybody has a a 10 or 12... or 10-12's in a ol' ported box tuned to blah, blah. Yes, this is tried and true, but boooring. I want to do something different than the s.o.s. Do you guys have any set ups that you have ever wanted to try or see done? Anything you've ever sketched up or thought about and never tried? Or a cool st up that you've done and miss? I don't know, I am fully open to suggestions. My only limitation is space, really. I only have 2, maaaaybe 2.5cf to work with. Sooooo, what you got?

well 2.5 cubes isn't really much space...you'd be lucky to fit a decent 12" ported, so I guess look into 8's or something?

Depends on your alt size...but if by stock you mean stock batt too then I wouldn't go much past 1kw. I ran about 1.5kw on a stock alt with a yellowtop and it tore the shit out of my alt. The alt still worked but it was all burned up inside and obviously didn't have much life left...

ive done 4kw on stock alty and 3 optima batteries. worked ok but I put it on charge every night.

I assumed stock electrical meant no battery upgrades. And I bet that was hard as hell on your alt...

nah, not as long as you charge the bats at night. It was still working when I changed it out after a year of competition. tough lil pos alty.
