I want to be louder than...

I have a friend with 2 12 w6v2 in a large box(i dunno about 4.5 maybe 5 cubic feet with a autotek mm 2000.1(he says he is goin to a cliff designs 2400??) I would like to be if possible not much louder but noticeably louder than him(much louder than him if possible),Not worried about the sq factor. Will 2 15" resx do the trick.Open to any suggestion. I have an Orion 2500d.Gotta bout 500 to spend.

depending on the install it should be too hard to get louder than 2 12w6v2, especially with some decent 15s lol. Never used either but from what I've read your buddy would be making quite a mistake if he switched amps.

lol i didn't kno what the hell was going on either....but i think with the right amp and install 2 15inch sx will be noticably louder the the w6s

2 15" SX's will be louder than those W6's. Hell, even 2 12" RE SX's will be louder.

holy bad grammar thoughout the entire thread. Lol. Re Sx's would do the job fine. around 1200 watts to each one will be great. Im unsure if you are going to keep them sealed or ported but I highly recommend porting. So if you are low on space get the 12s. If you have enough space get the 15s.

you'd have to run the orion @ .5 or 2 ohms though, if ya picked up 2 sx's. Not sure if it can run at .5 or if it what it will do @2. Or you could pay like prolly $75 more a sub and get dual 4 or 1.

Perfect for that amp. 3.2 cu each and tune it to around 36 hertz and its going to hurt. let me know.
