Oh, well I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XL *extended cab*

Electrical system mods:

250amp Dc Power HO Alt *needs upgrading to either 2 180's or a 270 minimum but not a huge deal..

O guage welding lead big 3 crazy quality materials and internals, 3$ a foot! lol

2xHC16v Batts

blah blah blah, I'm telling you this aint my first rodeo I'm just ingrained with the commercial brands I sold for years when I was younger, and I always knew it was 90% garbage but I'm interested in the underground **** like Team Cactus amps and which old Orion models are beastmodes, and all the juicy insider ****...

Yea I could put together a nice system with **** from best buy...But I'de rather give myself a paper cut on the tip of my eyeball.

Not to mention the whole time I worked there (not best buy) it was 100% just a job...I think the only think I got while I worked there was a warrantied AVIC unit back when they were like 2500$, and anything I learned on all their training seminars and **** I've long forgotten so bare with me..I'm not dumb though.

what i don't get is, all the guys in here complaining and telling this OP that 2 12's will beat his azz, since he wants to put in 1 18. now why is it when you see a wall build in here with 4 or 6 18's, or 24 12's nobody talks shyt then? why not talk shyt to twisted with his 21? so many posts in here about "oh my single 12 beat this guys, 15"... ok so why not get another 12 and be that much better?

Twisted actually knows what he is doing and takes suggestions on good equipment. The OP just fails and doesnt listen to others and assumes he knows everything. I suggest the OP gets an 18 inch Warden on a Sundown 4500. That should get plenty loud for a daily driver.

i'll agree with you somewhat with the OP, he's got his mind pretty much set on an 18. but this stupid attitude that some guys have on here of "i'm the greatest installer or all time, i can make my sa-8 walk all over your 21 all day long" type attitude it retarded and makes em look like the biggest tools known to man.

Does your DC look big, is it heavy?
