I want STEREO!!!

Ok this may be difficult or impossible but here's what i want to do:

I have

Four Pioneer 6.5" 100w Component

Zebra 800w Subwoofer

Power Acoustik 1200w 4CH AMP

Power Acoustik PWM-16 Pre-AMP

What I want to do is have the component speakers running in stereo with a front/rear option still available,i.e i want all four channels AND the sub. but i don't want to buy another amp. any suggestions??

dude just buy another amp......it will be so much easier or sell the power acoustik you have and buy the directed 5channel that someone has for sale on here for like 175 which is a badass price considering it is a very nice amp.

Easier said than done. i just want to know if it can be done... i wasn't aiming for SPL music right now... just something to shake up everything

depends on if the power accoustic amp is tri mode capable ...

yes its tri mode capable and 2 ohm stable

then the back chanels can be used in a stereo/mono con fig and you would need a passive x over for the sub..is the sub single voice coil?

no the sub is dual coil. i don't really want to buy any more things... so basically i HAVE to add something to get what i want here.. what if i connected all four speakers on the four channels of the amp then connected the sub on them as well (bridged)? will it share the power? but i wont be able to use the "sub out" on the pre-amp... i just want to know if i can do it without buying more things

if its dvcx you would have to wire them in series and you would need a passive x over unless you dont want your sub crossed over and if you use the crossover on the amp for it then the rear speakers will be x over at the same setting....................

sigh... i'll just buy a 500w 4ch amp. this is way too much stress.

either that or i leave the sub out on two channels of the amp then use the front or rear L+R on the nex two so i'll just have LEFT and RIGHT in the cabin.... no front/rear. that *****!!

open to anymore suggestions though

btw what does dvcx mean??
