I want my LED tubes to come on when I open the door.

is so with my (+) end I can just attach it to the end where the Add a circuit wire thing is crimped..crimp it down and plug in the fuse part into the box and boom im done? plus grounding the (-) and all that a right way?
or is there another easier way where I can just use what I have and dont have to buy anything extra?
yes, yes, yes.

you can always splice into the wire and solder it, use a T-tap, or cut it and use a butt connector.

Or if you really get lazy, you can use electrical tape.

But if you do, I'd keep a fire extinguisher in the glove box.

what else have you tapped into? what are some cool functions you've added to your car, I'm interested to know. I'm going to be redoing my interior and integrating a system of air flows into the chairs for added comfort and to give my car a 'luxury' feel. I'm also redesigning the interior out of fiberglass

okay...forget everything I asked.

What is the easiest quickest way to install the LEDs in the car? give me a third grade explanation please.

sorry for all this trouble but I really appreciate it.

If your car has (-) door trigger on the door pins, just tap into your door pin and use that (-) to switch a relay on the LED's.

Just do this.

SPDT relay

30 and 86 to 12v+ source....fused

85 to door pin (-) Diod isolated.

87 to 12v+ side or remote turn-on for your LEDs

You could also put a switch in line with either the door pin ground between where you tapped it and the relay to control when your LEDs will function like this. That switch will as as a 'dome light override' for you LEDs.

If you're talking to me, I have tapped into my fuse box for some 6 inch neon tubes in my footwells, and my remote turn on wire for my amp is a wire running from my fuse box to a rocker switch inside of my arm-rest console. So if my amp ever effs up or I need to prevent it from turning on for some reason without affecting the rest of my system, it's just the flip of a switch.

This.

If you still want to wire it up so you can have them come on when you open the door....and you want control over when they do this (like a dome override) all you will need extra is a Bosch SPDT Relay and a DPDT switch. (on-off-on switch)
