i want a real loud system

i dont want 2 kickers thats too much bass, i just want 1 kicker so i'll have just a lil amount of bass , i want a lot of speakers i want it real loud

1 L7 15" PORTED will get the job done(dual 2 ohm). Buy you a Kx1200x1 and run it at 1 ohm.

i dont like systems with all that bass and u can't even hear tha song , i want people to hear my music from blocks away, so i'm thinking of getting 4 6X9s in the back powered by some good amps, and maybe one 15" kicker l7 sub
i want REAL LOUD sound, i'm gonna wear earplugs by the way when i have it up, i want it so loud that i'll need another battery just for the sound system

this brings up a question from me, how loud can you listen without sustaining ear damage, you all may or may not know that im building a 4-10" setup, and i realized that it may be too loud for daily listening, and if you do crank it once it a while (to show off to your freinds.. c'mon, you know you do it too), how long before this starts to damage your ears. i thought i heard something about 90 db. is hearing damage, but that doesnt seem too loud in our car stereo world, my old setup was over 100 when it wasnt really sounding that loud

depends on the frequency, though...higher frequencies can be devestating, while lower ones don't do as much damage, this is why higher frequency hearing tends to go first. 140 dB from a 747 on takeoff is much, much more damaging than 140 dB at a singular 45Hz from a car system.

my firebird was a 100 watt car (closer to 2000 actual power) with 2 horns 2 8's and 2 15s. could be heard for over 3 blocks (windows down) and you would know what the song was even over normal traffic. also during the local fair the old shop was right in the square for the fair over that whole block with music thousands of people talking yelling and rides going on you could hear it plain as day from the otherside of the fair.

if you want to show how loud you are, get metered and plaster it all over your back window. its alot less annoying to everyone else trying to enjoy their music.

I will however put on ear muffs used for suppressing gun shots an drive through sonic blaring sine waves between 35-65 hertz just to be abnoxious.
