i want a real loud system

i dont like systems with all that bass and u can't even hear tha song , i want people to hear my music from blocks away, so i'm thinking of getting 4 6X9s in the back powered by some good amps, and maybe one 15" kicker l7 sub

i want REAL LOUD sound, i'm gonna wear earplugs by the way when i have it up, i want it so loud that i'll need another battery just for the sound system

duz anybody have any suggestions as far as real loud speakers and amps i should get....

god i hope you didnt mean that. you could have just asked for some loud system idea's, but saying that you want to hear your music from blocks away is a No-No on this forum. Just giving you a heads up incase you get flamed.

oh and btw, 1 L7 (unless in a flawless install) will be heard from blocks away. might want to go with dual 15" L7's to achieve that.

i hope this is a joke. your gonna wear ear plugs? whats the point then of even getting a system. just turn your speakers up till they distort like crazy and hope your earplugs will help lessen you hearing that distortion. and im with jack frost...why did i even waste my time on a reply

so u want to achieve that huh? really doubt 4 6x9's would do plus it would sound horrid. get some image dynamics cd-2's under your dash - $700 some decent mids basses like koda8's -$200 audio control eqt--$200 2 15" kicker l-7 $500 assorted amps to power system (5 channels needed total power needed)-$800 some premium health insurance to cover you needing hearing aids- priceless

actually ur gonna need 4 15's to be heard for blocks if that's ur goal, pretty dumb goal if u ask everyone here, it's important u hear the bass, i mean sh1t, it's YOUR system in your CAR not the "people who can hear your bass" system." plus having other people here ur system risks people stealing ur sh1t too too dude think about it!

eh, not really. my single 12" mag could be heard from blocks away. im not necessarily proud of it, but im just sayin you wouldnt even need that many subs to accomplish such a foolish goal

wut it do: ill tell you a secret. all your gonna need is 1 18" solo x and run that with a jenson 300 watt amp. its underrated. this amp is a monster and actually puts out 5000+ watts. then your gonna need a nice component set. id suggest anything from pyle, and if you feel like it you can step up to pyramid, but that might be a little too loud even for your taste. run them off your HU for sure. they got monstrous internal amps. when everything is setup make sure you xover you subs at at least 500hz maybe even a little higher than that. then you gotta xover your new pyramid componants (if your a man) at about 30hz. thatll make sure your heard from blocks away. trust me, my friend has the same setup. i even helped him tune it with the bassboost feature on his sony HU. beleive me, this sytem is AWESOME

Squeak, help me out on the link to that car that hit 170.? w/ a 10" I believe? you'd be able to hear that a block or more away.

I had 2 L7 15"s... It was ridiculously(sp?) loud. And that was in a maxima. I wanted that much bass. Hell, the windows were up most of the time.
