hmm I will have to check on that.....but how much power you talking...i didnt wanna spend a G on a amp but i guess i could try and find one used making like 1k watts mono or something.

My pioneer 3002 was doing a 138.x out of the trunk on music with 750w. It only cost me $100 too.

2 cubes @ 40hz.

It's taking 1500w just fine and i expect a 140+ now

i doubt you'll find a DD9512 for $250

You want a loud(ish) daily driver for $250...my vote is for a 12" Fi BL

You can buy one new directly from Fi for only $260 shipped or look for a used one on the forums. Also, rms is 1000 watts, so it'll do nicely off 600-800 rms.

If you want to wang (for a $260 non-SPL 12") push it with an Elemental Designs nine.1, which would be 1200 rms. It's a solid amp and looks clean. The BL will handle it and it'll probably be louder than you expect.

I have been learning as much as i can about the non-mainstream companies that are out now. Which ive gotten info on here or relmofexcursion.com. Now ED's i know a lil about...I did a bunch of research on them about a eyar ago when i talked my bust bud into them.

He has two of thier 15's driven by a Nine.1. The boxes are faily small...only like 1.5 cubes sealed mabye slightly larger...but he didnt want to take up all him room in the Explorer. It bangs pretty frickin nicely and ive seen a few of those amps for sale used so yes that is an option.

The main reason im doing this is my Kappa's,although great, show some wear from being in the back of my Bronco and being hit by helmets and off road crap. Ive been kinda reading that the Aluminum cones just arent that great for getting loud...and since they are made for small sealed enclosures i didnt want to try and run them in a ported box.

Trust me guys im taking all this in very quickly and learn fast with stuff like this. I seriously appreciate all the help....who makes the TC's again and who makes AQ's...anyone got links?
