I wanna get loud with one 12..advise

Just like it says folks..i wanna get loud and bang with one 12 in sub driven by a amp pushin arounf 600-800 to said one sub. if i get a single voice coilt hen ill be going for that into 1 channel...if a dual voice coil then 300-400 watts to each coil naturally. Im looking for something that fits into a box of 2-2.5 cu feet...either sealed or ported.

Ive been out of the actual game for awhile..been runnin basic sealed boxes. So im not sure what it should be tuned to...but im thinking maybe 38-42hz...or maybe not you guys let me know. For right now its going in my Thunderbird...but theres chance it may end up in a hatchback stang a few months down the road. I listen to mostly rap:fro: ....and some speed metal and the like...like Korn..slipknot...even some lamb of god everynow and then. Just wanetd to know what you guys thought.

my BNIB 12 inch kicker cvx dual 4 ohm take a grand easy so 800 watts would be no problem, and these do get loud 125 + shipping thats super low

Gues si should have mentioned i wanna stay under 250 for the sub lol. Ive always liked kicker...but after having a 15in solo baric...one of the round ones..i wasnt very happy with its output...i switched to a 15in Orion XTR PRO DVC and with the same power...it was noticebly louder and more bass.

Gues si should have mentioned i wanna stay under 250 for the sub lol. Ive always liked kicker...but after having a 15in solo baric...one of the round ones..i wasnt very happy with its output...i switched to a 15in Orion XTR PRO DVC and with the same power...it was noticebly louder and more bass.

can't bass that off thses subs man i know this thing gets loud!!

I dont quite understand why you are doin that? You can still get a monoblock amp and be just fine.

Yeah a monoblock would be fine...i just wasnt thinking when i posted.

And thanks to everyone....those who posted links ill check them when i get home...**** firewall at work only lets me see certain sites..and why caraudio is one of them i dont know....but im not complaining lol.

well if you really want to get loud shoot for a digital designs 9512... although 800 watts will get it loud, your going to need ALOT more to really cause some hearing damage

hmm I will have to check on that.....but how much power you talking...i didnt wanna spend a G on a amp but i guess i could try and find one used making like 1k watts mono or something.
