I thinking about the AudioQue 3500 Iv got the money Just not sure?

if that is the new heat sink as he says if he still has the invoice from buying it it will be under warranty the new heatsink just came out in early november..jacob warrantys his for 2 years i am sure the one through db-r is an a plus unit also but i bet old heatsink not that it was a bad design nut the new should be better..

3000rms to 3500rms I dont really need 4krms though

I seriously doubt you could hear the difference between 3000 and 3500, and the 3000d will put out way more than 3000 at 14.4, and forget it at higher voltages you will see well above 4000watts.

Chris at dB-r just piped in on another thread a few days ago about the build difference between the AQ and Sundown, and the Sundown is going to be there for the long haul! the AQ is a nice amp no doubt, but the SAZ is the AQ just better. IMO

I like the Sundown 3000 alot.. but if the Crunch Gp3000DPro will do 3000wrms at allmost1/2 the cost I would just buy it IMO
Yea but the Crunch isnt nearly as effecient. I would say the Sundown is better for the "Average" user cause you can abuse the hell out of a 3000d ( low voltage, lower impediences, ect) and it will still be rock solid. As for the crunch youll need a hell of alot better electrical support then the 3000d

I am an AQ fan I run 2 AQ HDC 18's and 2 AQ 2200's but if you are looking for the better amp I would definately go with the MM4000.1. The quality is just as good if not better than the AQ and it is more powerful.

So this Chris guy from dB-r said what now:confused: I couldnt find the thread

where he was talking about the build difference

is that your setup in your avatar? i think you should do a bit more studying. the memphis 4k can be had for 550-600. sundown can be had for 600-700. you then need batteries an an alt.

Yeah thats my set up, There the lvl-3 15's with the upgraded voice coil

about 750 to 800 wrms So i guessed 3000 to 3500 wrms for an amp

would be good. I like the Memphis 4k I found one used on here the other

day for like 550$$

autotek IMO, my mm4000.1 is a BEAST to put it lightly. very good daily amp. the specs on your link are wrong though. its a "2 ohm stable" amp when bridged. some run them 1 ohm with good electrical.
