I think the spl bug bit me again, DC lvl 5 18?

Ok i ran into a friend of mine who i competed with 10 years ago, he runs a huge setup, soundstream and AB,it's pretty mean. Soooo i guess i'm gonna hit some lanes this year.

I have a trade opp for a DC lvl 5 18 for my 9515D, i have room in my ride for a max 8 cubes and i'm looking at amps(suggestions?)

I'm not made of money, and i'm not looking for a world title.

The 5 is a dual 1 so i'm looking for a good budget amp around the 5k watt range.

Main question though is: 9515d or lvl 5 18 for the lanes?

If your going to compete I would see what organization it is then choose a amp that fits the classes. There is a competition in Wichita, Ks Sunday if you're free come check it out give alittle idea on power needed/wanted to compete.

a dc 5.0 or vfl 500.1 either will work for you ,if your on a budget then 2 vfl 4480 amps

Well I pulled the trigger on a DD9518E! And then I went totally stupid and snagged a rubicon 1.2500 and a hifonics zrx3000.1! Jeez that bug bit hard no telling what iI'll do next!

I will post pics of gear in gallery,just can't seem to post pics off the ps3 or the iphone. And im seriously thinking about a VFL750.1

should have bought the vfl 750.1 , why would you even mess with the other 2 amps with that sub .it will take more than they can dish out

Yeah waste of money you should return them if there new. I got a DD that will do 3800+ RMS at .5 your better off with

The kinetic khc3800 is on its way,and the 250 amp ho alt is too.

LOL I said I wasn't made of money,but i'm **** sure not dirt poor.I got those two amps so **** cheap I couldn't pass them up.Still up in the air about the amp for the 18,but really leaning towards the vfl.
