Well, I tried incorperating in with my other type "R" thread, but no one is lookngi at it anymore..

Anyway... How much power could I safely give each one...? Would I be better off Running one ported through the back seat or the rear deck? Off of what ever power, with a cleaner signal? Or two with less power each, and a dirtier signal not porter towards opening of trunk?

So you think 1@ 1000w with a singal the I KNOW the amp can handle, would be better than 2@ 750w each with a signal I'm not so sure about?

My power is fine... No dimming or anything... It's a PA 3000d... Rated 1700rms @1ohm.. So maybe like 1500 actual? idk..

2@750 will be louder then 1 with 1k provided you have room for proper box.

There's some window sealant that is a thick foam strip (approx. 3/4" wide) with a sticky strip on one side. Try applying this to the back of the plate. Available at the depot.

clean signal = happy woofer

dirty signal = distortion = dead woofer/you eating your own foot when it blows in a few weeks....

I would rather have 2 with 750 each. Contrary to popular belief, I don't think 1kw is good for a type-r in a daily setup. 800-850 is the max I would recommend.

12": ~2 cubes

10": ~1.5 cubes
