Do you mean like they said 'Oh you live in XXX, Ohio' or whatever? There is no way they can find your exact address unless something you entered in the forum (username, email, phone number, etc) was linked to that account and looked it upvia google etc and somehow traced it back here. And an hour later I had a PM with my home address in it. That's when I realized that these guys don't really like pranks.
People are idiots. This is why some people shouldnt do crime. Who are the people that posted early?Nothing really happened. Quite frankly... if anything. I got owned.
A few of our guys couldn't control them selves and posted a day early, that combined with the fact that the retards used the same screenname led them here. They traced it back (since they were wondering who all the new idiots were.) to here, and shut their site down and change new member access before we could do anything.
And an hour later I had a PM with my home address in it. That's when I realized that these guys don't really like pranks.
So to sum it up.

cliff notes plz... i missed thisYeah, the only 'damage' was having to go delete a ton of stupid posts and like 30 users. The last 'joke' we had on the boards shut it down and a few people had a couple hours of labor putting it back up, so yeah, we're still a little angry :-D
Anyways, no worries, there will be no 'retaliation'.
PS. I sent him his exact address, house number and street. He attacked a site based in Dayton, so there are plenty of crazy people near him. I will not post his address so he really has no worries though.
I started a new account but never actually posted. When I went back it did not say that I was banned, it just did not recognize my username.Basically, we noticed like 25 new users all at once. Then we found a thread here that said you guys were 'invading' our site at 10pm last night. At 10, we closed the site, turned off registration, locked the new accounts, and opened the site back up. We caught it before anything major happened.
